About our Team
RX Global is a leading organizer of business events and exhibitions, including IBTM, ILTM, WTM & ATM. Our objective is to connect high-value individual buyers and group buyers with industry professionals to create productive and positive event experiences. The Buyer Team recruits high-value Meeting, Event, Conference, and Incentive (MICE) organisers / Luxury Travel Advisors to attend our events, ensuring they have a productive experience and become positive event promoters.

About the Role
As the Hosted Buyer Account Manager, you'll identify and oversee high-value individual and group buyers for premier travel portfolio events. You will also host buyers onsite to ensure their productive experience. Additionally, as the Buyer Account Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing top-tier travel designers, planners, concierge services, and event organizers. Occasional travel will be involved.
 

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering the Hosted Buyer program recruitment strategy.
  • Managing assigned group and individual buyer relationships
  • Contributing to business development by growing the buyer database and identifying new relationships.
  • Utilizing analytical and organizational skills to meet recruitment targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Utilizing database/IT skills for data analysis and maintaining accurate industry contacts.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to contribute to meeting overall event strategy, objectives, and targets.
  • Developing 'new to show' group and individual buyer relationships.


Requirements

  • Have experience working in the Meeting, Incentive, Conference, and Events (MICE)/ Luxury Travel space is advantageous.
  • Have experience in managing multiple accounts across different regions.
  • Possess excellent sales intelligence systems and database/IT skills, including Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Demonstrate ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Have organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be proficient in analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential (spoken and written), with direct daily reporting to the UK unit. Spanish is a plus.
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of Salesforce/PeopleSoft/SAP is a plus
