About our Team
RX Global is a leading organizer of business events and exhibitions, including IBTM, ILTM, WTM & ATM. Our objective is to connect high-value individual buyers and group buyers with industry professionals to create productive and positive event experiences. The Buyer Team recruits high-value Meeting, Event, Conference, and Incentive (MICE) organisers / Luxury Travel Advisors to attend our events, ensuring they have a productive experience and become positive event promoters.
Responsibilities:
Global customer relationship and assistance: High-end hotels, tourism offices, travel agents, airlines, cruises, etc., worldwide.
Support to the company's commercial area and general event planning:
Creation, tracking, organization, and revision of documents in Portuguese and English related to the business (exhibitor lists, commercial proposals, contracts, email templates, and others).
Receiving and controlling agreements and documents (Excel files and systems).
Management of customer database (new client registration in Salesforce/PeopleSoft and database updates).
Control of schedules, organization of travel, and preparation of meetings and courier materials.
Interaction with Marketing, Design, Operations, and Finance areas.
Emails and phone calls, general administrative and commercial support.
Achievement of sales targets: Development and management of a small region with established sales goals.
Active prospecting for new clients and business opportunities.
Identification and analysis of customer needs to offer customized solutions.
Negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitoring performance indicators and sales reports.
Participation in events and fairs to promote the company and generate new business opportunities.
Development of strategies to maximize sales and exceed established targets.
Requirements:
Degree in: International Relations, Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration.
Fluency in English is essential (spoken and written), with direct daily reporting to the UK unit. Spanish is a plus.
Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of Salesforce/PeopleSoft/SAP is a plus.
Experience in B2B sales is a plus.
Availability to travel.
Personal Skills: Organized, proactive, dynamic, responsible, committed, flexible, communicative, assertive, critical thinker, service-oriented, and with careful attention to detail. Experience in the tourism industry is a plus. Experience in international travel and/or international exchange programs is a plus.
